I have been re-acquainting myself with bag Hangers which I first foundseveral years ago.  At the time I believed that they were a superb concept, however quickly realised they were more than that.  In one of my previous feature I outlined the lack of hygiene our bags encounter when we leave them on the floor and other surfaces.

designers have also upgraded and added to the original Purse Hook and the market now features aside from the Classic Purse Hook ; Folding Purse Hook  and Bracelet Purse Hook 

The Classic range, a neat, timeless hook is just the right size to fit easily in our pocket book .There are some pretty and unique designs and manufacturers even offer a customised option !  In addition to purse hooks, you can also buy matching cell phone hooks in this range.   They  clip not only to the phone but to the bag as well – so no more hunting when it is ringing its heart out and remains lost at the bottom or in a corner of your bag

The Folding Purse Hanger are a very attractive range. Only two inches across, and weighing only a couple of ounces, they slip into the tiniest of purses. Slightly more expensive than the Classic range, these would in all probability be considered more of an accessory than the Classics which, although neat and pretty, are more functional.  The Folding Purse hanger is attractive by design, functional , and then folds away for storing in our handbag .

Only slightly dearer than the Folding hookshangers,  there are the Bracelet Handbag Hooks which, just like the name suggests, can be worn , making them not only fashionable but practical – a really elegant personal or bag accessory, but all the same fulfilling the function of a purse hook , keeping our bags off the floor. 

Some of the current designs are very attractive and, it could be said, you really don’t need a purse to accompany them!

All in all , all three designs are useful , unique and elegant and all  are affordable .  If we care to make the effort, for little extra cost, our handbags can be more hygienically safe.

I am looking forward to seeing how this market develops .  I am convinced there is still plenty of room for more designs in all three ranges, and who knows, a brand new Purse Hook .
